Janissaries

Raised from children taken in raids upon the marches beyond the Iron Wall, they are subjected to rigorous martial training, alchemical augmentation and indoctrination to turn them into the elite warriors of the Sultanate. They excel at devastating counter-charges, crushing elite enemy formations and as bodyguards for high-ranking individuals.

There are 4 variants, two with jezails, one with a two handed sword and one with a sword and shield. Raised from childhood in the arts of war, they are a unit available to Iron Sultanate warbands.
